A sad day in Palestine

hamas.jpg

The full headlines reads: Hamas fighters enforce rule in Gaza.

I am saddened that violence, fear, and bullying was used to seize control of government. Is this the future of politics?

Maybe I’m not qualified to speak because I’m in Singapore and not the Middle East. But what I notice is this: It is so often that revolutionists, the ‘freedom fighters’ often cannot manage a country. As simple as that, so busy fighting that when they win power, they have no authority. Another armed group rises up and fights and so the karmatic cycle goes on.

Look at the photo-they speak to the media-but don’t even unmask themselves.  Will this be how we will be ruled in the future, by masked men who are not elected and not accountable to anyone?

Just fight, just fight, blow themselves up in a blaze of perceived martyrdom. When will this ever stop?
